John Jiang Shanghai
John Jiang is the head of our corporate finance department. Admitted to the Chinese bar in 1988, he has practiced for over 30 years and acquired rich experiences in advising domestic and overseas initial public offering and listing (including listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, Singapore Exchange, the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ) and mergers and reorganizations of listed companies. His practices mainly focused on private equity investment, reorganization, reformation, initial public offering and listing, refinancing of listed companies, merger and reorganization of listed companies, cross-border investment, cross-border bank financing, etc. John served for two consecutive terms as a member of the 10th and 11th Public Offering Review Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, John worked for two mainland China law firms and for a leading Hong Kong law firm. He was appointed by the Shanghai municipal government as a member of the Professional Group for Promoting the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Shanghai in 2010.
John attended professional training in the Training Centre of the Ministry of Justice for talents dealing with economic and legal affairs, as well as the University of Nevada.
He obtained an LL.B. from the South-West University of Politics and Law in 1987.
John is a member of the Committee for Financial Securities and Insurance of the All China Lawyers Association and works as internal auditing committee member of numerous securities companies.
